System Characteristics
The compact antenna test range creates a plane wave field at distances considerably shorter than those needed under conventional far-field criteria. With the same size of the quiet zone, the compact antenna test range has a much smaller size of darkroom than that of the far-field range but also has the characteristics of the far-field range including high-speed and strong intuition.
